This site showcases the nest of the most beautiful bird ‘Pandion haliaetus’ or the Osprey. There are a number of nests around Rotto and this cache is located near one of them. Use your bike to get to this location which is a 5 km ride from Thompson bay but this is the way we do things on Rotto.
Watch out for the local flora and fauna while you locate our GC, there may be snakes at certain times of the year.
The cache is a 500ml screw top containing little swappable items a log book and some pens.
Make sure you are cautious and keep an eye out for Muggles ;-)
