Geocache Description:

A short tour based on bronze plaques in Magnuson Park.  The wrinkle is that the first waypoint has two plaques and you simply to have to quess which one to use. If you guess wrong you get a short detour and then use the other one. This is a variant of the now archived Dumb Luck Detour By Global Girl.

Park Hours: 4 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.

Background:
This is a 2K walk along paved and gravel trails with some grassy fields. Total elevation change is maybe 10 feet. Bicycles are OK if the tires can handle gravel, but don't ride across the playfields, use the track.
All the way points are brass plaques with quotes. The waypoints here are all attributed to Eddie Bauer. Outdoor enthusiasts may know him as holding the patent on the quilted down jacket. (related link (visit link) For each plaque you will have to count the number of letters in given words to get coordinate values. I suggest using paper to record values in case you need to re-check something.

Waypoint 1. Here are two different plaques. Pick one.
One leads to WP2 and the other is a short detour. Because this should be fun the detour will only add about 50 meters to the journey.

If the first line of you plaque contains "Where" -then
let line 1 2nd word = A
line1 3rd word= B
line 2 last word= C
line 4 (Sum of first two words)= D

If not better use the other plaque at WP1. If the plaque has the word Duty then to find WP3 let

line 2 second word = L
line 3 (Sum of first two words) = M
WP3= N47 40.MIL W122 14.JMK

For the final use the plaque at WP3
line 1 first word= N
line2 second word = O
line 3 second word = P

Final is at N47 40.PMP W122 1O.I(K-6)N

NO bushwacking required.
The hint is a spoiler that should not be needed but is included because extreme stealth may be required on weekends, or event days.
