Typically, this series should be available from July 1 to mid-October.
Remember: Bring your own water... and Pen!
The cache is not at the posted coordinates, but they are within a few kilometers. The BYOH2O... &P! series is a series of 20 caches: 19 traditonals and this one. In order to determine the location of this cache, you will need to collect clues from 3 of the traditional caches placed along the Rim Trail, east of Creston. The location of this cache may be a long way from the posted coordinates, but you will pass by it (within 50m) as you head back down the mountain, toward the highway.
The final location is:
N 49°06.NNN W 116°25.WWW
NNN is 10 more than the sum of the two larger clues, minus the smallest clue.
WWW is 10 more than the sum of all three clues.
I thought of many other cachers while placing this series:
When I placed the final, I wondered who would be FTF. Jabberwock&Jazzy might have some competition from Chevytruckers around here. Then again, never count the Pirates out, or Woodsie1, for that matter. Several times, I wondered if I was going to collapse during a climb. That's when I thought of the Kootenay Pirates. I thought of Pappy90, who also has an H20 series, but his actually involves water! Chet&Jane have been going on about wanting to get up here for a while, so maybe this will do it. Maybe Zanadian will post some of his first rate pictures. And to Scottie: sorry about the lack of creativity in this series. And "Thanks" to LXGDS who helped pack all the containers in!
Have Fun!
