Geocache Description:

Most people have heard about the unique but threatened population of flying squirrels in Espoo [no? Take a look here!]. However - very few have heard about the even rarer population of aquatic squirrels. The only known sighting is in Espoo's Lippajärvi.

New description (vol.2)
Six months after accurate investigation, I discovered that this species is able to live in the trees. The species is very sensitive, but you can detect it by carefully studying its surroundings. You may notice that its protective color is blue, and the species itself feels very metal.

Species may carry the little things to be happy to hide it around the nest.

Since the cache is no longer underwater cache, I have changed the cache description and characteristics of the original. However, I saved the original cache description, genre, due to the definition.

Original cache description:
Most people have heard about the unique but threatened population of flying squirrels in Espoo [no? Take a look here!]. However - very few have heard about the even rarer population of aquatic squirrels. The only known sighting is in Espoo's Lippajärvi. This cache takes you deep into its habitat...
This is an underwater cache.

It consists of a blue 0.5l plastic waterproof container anchored to a brick with a 20 cm long wire. The cache is submerged approximately 70 cm deep, about 3 meters out from the shore. The jar thus "hangs" from the bottom and up to about 50 cm under the surface. This will all depend on the waterlevel in the lake. It can be seen from the shore if the wave action permits.

Inside the jar is another, smaller, waterproof container, with log and pencil inside. Place collectables & TBs in the outside container.

Handle with care and make sure to close both containers properly when returning the cache.
This cache is located in [Lippajärven/Klappträsk conservation area] (established in 1933). So please avoid disturbing the wildlife in the area while you are searching for the cache.
