LV: Rīgas 1.slimnīca ir vecākā civilā slimnīca Latvijā. Tā ir dibināta 1803.gada 3. maijā kā Rīgas trūcīgo jeb nabagu slimnīca bijušās Kroņa aptiekas dārza vietā - tolaik Karātavu un Balinātāju ielu stūrī. Slimnīca ir ne tikai Latvijas medicīnas kultūrvēsturisks, bet arī arhitektūras piemineklis, jo tās celtniecībā un izbūvē realizētas savam laikam progresīvas idejas un šo darbu vadījuši Latvijas izcilākie arhitekti.
Pats slēpnis atrodas slimnīcas teritorijā, dīķim blakus esošajā mazajā pļaviņā.
ENG: Riga First Hospital is the oldest civil hospital in Latvia. It was founded on 3rd of May, 1803 as a hospital for the poor in the garden of the former Kroņa pharmacy - on the corner of Karātavu and Balinātāju street. The hospital is not only a cultural monument of Latvian medicine, but an architectural monument as well, because the ideas used in its construction were way ahead of its time, and this work was led by Latvia's most prominent architects.
The cache itself is located in the hospital territory, in a small meadow near a pond.
