The Fundy Footpath stretches from Goose River at the edge of Fundy National Park all the way to Big Salmon River at the end of the Fundy Parkway (East of Saint Martins). The footpath hugs the cliffs of the Bay of Fundy, dropping a dozen times into ravines up to 300 metres deep. The path winds through lush boreal forests, crosses rushing creeks and waterfalls, pebbled beaches, sheltered grottos and caves.
The entire length of the footpath is blazed Appalachian Trail style with white blazes painted on trees and rocks. Side trails are blazed in yellow or blue.
