[PL] Jedna z dużych atrakcji w okolicy Kudowy-Zdrój.
[ENG] One of the major attractions in the area Kudowa Zdrój

[PL]Kaplica Czaszek to pomnik życia i śmierci, miejsce w którym zgromadzone zostały szczątki około 30 000 ofiar dawnych wojen. W Kaplicy Czaszek znajduje się od 20 000 do 30 000 czaszek. Część jest wystawiona wokół ołtarza, większość pozostaje w krypcie, pod podłogą kaplicy. Kaplica Czaszek została zbudowana przez miejscowego proboszcza, Vaclacva Tomaska. Ksiądz w okolicy gminy znajdował mogiły oraz zwłoki ofiar wojen śląskich z lat 1744 – 1745 oraz Wojny Siedmioletniej z lat  1756 – 1763. Każda relikwia jest autentyczna i należała do konkretnej osoby.  Dla szczątków ofiar wojen oraz zarazy ksiądz Tomasek wybudował pod koniec XVIII w. dostojny grobowiec. Kaplica Czaszek to miejsce, którego atmosfera przynosi refleksję nad życiem, śmiercią i wiecznością. Tę atmosferę można poczuć zwłaszcza o północy z 14 na 15 sierpnia – wtedy odbywa się coroczna Msza w intencji wszystkich zmarłych.

[ENG] Skull Chapel is a monument to the life and death, the place where the remains were collected about 30 000 victims of past wars. The Chapel of Skulls is from 20 000 to 30 000 skulls. Part of it is staged around the altar, the majority remains in the crypt under the floor of the chapel. Skull Chapel was built by a local pastor, Vaclacva Tomasek. The priest was in the area municipalities and the corpses of victims of grave Silesian wars from the years 1744 - 1745 and the Seven Years War in the years 1756 to 1763. Each relic is authentic and belonged to an individual. For the remains of victims of war and plague priest Tomasek was built in the late eighteenth century stately tomb. Skull Chapel is a place with an atmosphere that brings reflections on life, death and eternity. You can feel the atmosphere especially at midnight from 14 to 15 August - when is the annual Mass for all deceased.
