Plieņciema "rēgs" no PSRS laikiem - Rīgas Aviācijas institūta viesnīca/atpūtas centrs "Ikars" tika uzcelts ap 1987. gadu un darbojās tikai pāris gadus līdz Latvijas Republikas proklamēšanai. Šobrīd šis piecstāvu monstrs ir tukšs, izdemolēts un nevienam nevajadzīgs. To pamatīgi skāris gan laika zobs, gan cilvēku vēlme demolēt. Ēkai ir brīva piekļuve jumtam, kur siltā vasaras vakarā ir patīkami aplūkot ainavu virs kokiem un netraucētiem iedzert kādu atspirdzinošu dzērienu.
Lai slēpni atrastu Jums būs jākāpj līdz ēkas augšējam stāvam. Tajā ir tikai pāris telpu un vienā no tām Jūs atradīsiet slēpni. Neliela izmēra slēgts konteineris, kas satur logbooku, zīmuli un nelielu atlīdzību pirmajam atradējam.
Ghostly USSR leftover in Plieņciems - hotel/recreational center "Ikars" - was built in 1987 by Riga Institute of Aviation and it was operational only for few years until the restoration of independence in Latvia in 1991. Currently this monsterous five-story building is empty, vandalized and useless. It is heavily damaged by the elements and people's desire to ruin things. There is a free access to the roof, where warm summer evenings can be spent with a refreshing drink and a nice view above the treetops.
To find the cache you must climb to the upper floor of the building. There is only a few rooms and you will find the cache in one of those. The cache is a small, sealed container containing logbook, pencil and small reward for the first finder.
