A simple little film container, a classic traditional - for natives and tourists alike, for all those looking for a nice item for their statistics.
Der Rennweg war schon seit jeher eine der Hauptverkehrsstrecken von und nach Würzburg. Er durchschneidet die im zweiten Drittel des 17. Jahrhunderts errichtete Stadtmauer, hinter der sich auf der Südseite der Hofgarten der ehemaligen fürstbischöflichen Residenz befindet - eine Anlage, die gemeinsam mit dem Schloss UNESCO Weltkulturerbe ist. Als der Garten ab 1730 geplant wurde, mussten die Gartenarchitekten die mächtigen Bastionsmauern in ihr Konzept mit einbeziehen - hier hatte die Wehranlage Vorrang vor dem Schlossbau des Landesherren. Die wehrhafte Außenseite ist heute mit Efeu überwachsen. Und wer genau hinsieht, bemerkt einige kreisrunde Bohrungen, deren Sinn sich nicht ohne weiteres erschließt.
Vorsicht - in der Nähe des Caches befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle - erhöhte Muggelgefahr ...

The Rennweg has always been a main route into and out of Würzburg. It cuts through the city walls that were built in the second third of the 17th century, south of which are the court gardens of the former Prince Bishop's palace. Together with this Residence palace, the gardens are a UNESCO World Heritage site. When from 1730 on the gardens were planned, the landscaping architects had to consider the mighty ramparts - for once, the fortifications were more important than the Prince Bishop's palace. The defiant outside of these walls is overgrown with ivy today. But on closer inspection, one can see round holes that have been drilled into the walls - holes that do not really make any sense.
Be careful - there is a bus stop near the cache - and with it, an increased danger of muggles ...
