Perdida entre belissimas falésias calcárias, encontra-se a Praia do Barranco. Sendo uma praia pouco conhecida e frequentada, contrasta porem com a beleza natural do local. De águas calmas e tranquilas, é frequentada por bastantes caravanistas que pernoitam no local. Praticam-se aqui desportos como surf, bodyboard ou mergulho. É tambem uma praia de "naturismo tolerado". Recentemente o acesso foi modificado para facilitar o acesso desde a Raposeira. Não tem estruturas de apoio, apenas um grande largo de estacionamento, e não é vigiada.
A cache leva-vos a conhecer esta praia e a sua magnifica envolvência. Exige uma caminhada e situa-se em locais que poderão dar algum trabalho a alcançar. Se tiver problemas com alturas ou não se sentir confiante com terrenos soltos e escorregadios não faça esta cache. A sua segurança em primeiro lugar.
Esta cache está no Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e da Costa Vicentina. Não se esqueçam então de ajudar a preservar a Natureza e a beleza natural do local, algum lixo que encontrem na praia ou pelas dunas levem-no para junto dos contentores do parque de estacionamento - Cache In, Trash Out!

Lost between beautifull limestone cliffs, there is Barranco beach. Being a little known and frequented beach, this contrast with the natural beauty scenery. With calm and quiet waters, it's usually frequented by caravan users who slept there. It's a good place for practice water sports like surf,bodyboard or diving. It is also a "naturism tolerated" beach. Access was recently modified to facilitate access from Raposeira. It has no support structures, just a big parking, and it's not lifeguarded.
This cache takes you to know this beach and it's magnificent surroundings. Requires some walk and is located in places that may give some work to achieve. If you are afraid of heights or do not feel confident on the loose and slippery terrain, please, don't attempt to do this cache. Your safety first.
This cache is in the Natural Park of Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina. Then do not forget to help preserve nature and natural beauty of the place, any garbage you have find on the beach or in the dunes please take it to the container in the car park - Cache In, Trash Out!
