This is part of a distributed sound project. When you find the cache, it will ask you to engage in a short listening activity. The result of this will be used as part of a composition. If you choose to do this, then you'll need to email something to locationcomposite@gmail.com. You don't have to do this of course - finding the cache is enough - but hopefully you'll find it interesting.
In dry conditions you can park on Avon Road in Pill and use the estuary footpath to get to the cache location. I placed it after a period of very hot weather and it was still a little boggy, so probably best to take wellies if it's a little wet and watch your step. It's a bit marshy. It's quite a lonely spot, so perhaps go with a friend. In the winter, it's best approached from the National Cycle Network Routes 26 / 41 where they go over the M5 bridge. There's a track which runs next to the car depot and you can walk under the bridge on solid ground.
