This is a fun cache, with a fun lesson (hopefully you will find it fun - I do)!
The cache idea was hatched while visiting the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center (Smithsonian Air & Space Museum) near Washington Dulles International Airport this summer. I just knew I had to apply this interesting, useless information to a cache!
Please do not remove the cache container to the structure it is wired to - just unscrew the cap. The container is only a log, but it is way bigger than a traditional bison tube.
The cache is located near ample parking and is not more than 60 feet from the parking lot. If your results take you someplace else, you did something wrong - study up on airport runway numbering systems and try again!
