Melo's Summer Time
One of the greatest beaches in Portugal - Praia de Altura (Alagoa), is our best place for the summer time holidays. All the family enjoy a great moment in the summer, even in the winter when the weather changes the environment, the beach became enigmatic and poetic.
The warm water and the fine sand fulfill the expectations of all family that spend a long time on the beach, sometimes over 8 pm.
Also the sardines are divine, well grilled in the most of the restaurants of the village, special in one, closed to the cinema.
Better have a little time to visit the beach, just in the end of the main street of the village. The big yellow structure, known as the Altura's Hotel (Eurotel), mark the place for those who come by sea. There, you can also find another cache in the dunes.

A Praia de Altura (Alagoa) é uma das melhores praias de Portugal e o nosso local de eleição para as férias de verão. Toda a família se diverte imenso no verão, até durante o inverno quando o tempo altera toda a envolvente, a praia se torna enigmática e poética.
A água morna e a areia fina deliciam toda a família que ficam na praia durante bastante tempo, por vezes até depois das 20 horas.
Até as sardinhas são divinais, bem grelhadas em qualquer um dos restaurantes da vila, especialmente num deles, perto do cinema.
Reserva um pouco do teu tempo para visitar a praia, mesmo ao fundo da rua principal da vila. A grande estrutura amarela, conhecida pelo Hotel de Altura (Eurotel), marca o local para aqueles que vêm pelo mar. Lá, poderás encontrar outra cache pelas dunas.
