The latest addition to the VA Wine Trail is hidden on the outskirts of Leesburg. A unique way to enjoy Virginia’s growing wine culture!

A unique way to enjoy Virginia’s growing wine culture! Check out the beautiful landscape and delicious wine as you hunt for a fun vineyard cache.

Virginia is quickly becoming known for more than just lovers. Counties such as Loudoun and Shenandoah Valley are being reported in the top 10 up-and-coming wine regions. Locals are learning that a little country air, a couple bottles of wine, and a group of friends is the perfect way to relax after a long week working in and around DC.

Being both geocaching and wine enthusiasts, some friends and I have decided to create a VA Wine Trail of geocaches. We hope you enjoy!
 
This cache is hanging out on the outskirts of Lost Creek Winery, within sight of the tasting room. You can find both indoor and outdoor seating here, as well as a kid and/or dog-friendly environment. The front patio is great pictures!

The property owners at Lost Creek Winery have given us permission to place this cache, so please respect their business hours (Thursday through Monday, 11am to 5pm, closed Tuesday and Wednesday).
