This cache is hidden along the new loop trail in Crawbuckie Park. This new trail features a boardwalk over a wetland area, stone stairs and several benches made from local locust trees. The Knickerbocker Benches were made by Timothy Englert of Valley Cottage, NY. There are two loop trails in the park. The loop 2 trail is handicap accessible. The cache is on the loop 1 trail which is about a mile in length and includes a number of overlooks with views of the Hudson. It is expected that this trail will be part of the Westchester County RiverWalk along the Hudson. It was designed and built by Tahawus Trails, the same people who rebuilt the Appalachian Trail at Bear Mountain.
This cache is named for the daughter of the designer and builder of the trail. With a pair of good binoculars you could probably see her grandparents home from here.
