The loop is very much a full countryside experience, so seasonal wear is advised accordingly. Winter time for the approach from Hall cross, will require wellies.There is scope for a couple of cars at Hall Cross, but only one car at Whinegreen (If you are doing the loop from that end, that is). Once done here, head north to road and then turn west to pick up public bridleway 100m along road on left. Enter leafy lane to continue the loop to HDY 3.
