To be held at the pub closest to my first ever cache find, Dan & Pid's classic Egyptian Springs (Bucks) GC81EC exactly a decade ago, on May 20th 2003. It's well within walking distance. This event:
Where: The Bugle Horn, Oxford Road, Hartwell, Aylesbury HP17 8QP. 01296 747594.
When: From 7pm til late, Monday May 20th 2013.
Why: Because we've not had a meet at this excellent pub before (except my one in 2010 which I have no recollection of. Thanks The Bongtwashes!), and I thought it was time to bring everyone to my local :) Also, Ali made me do it :D
Who: Cachers from far and wide, but often Bucks, Beds and Herts. GeoDogs in the garden (I hope it'll be mild) and GeoKids. Newbie cachers and first-time cache event attendees will be made especially welcome.
What: The 65th of the long-running Bucks Beds & Herts Border-ing on the Ridiculous events, started a long, long time ago! A mid-month(ish), mid-week(ish) get-together of local and not so local cachers to enjoy TB and coin swapping, geochat and decide who's hosting the next one. (Update: it's Bongtwashes) Food served til 10pm.
Bonus! The addition of an optional, free-to-enter Pub Quiz with prizes at this meet. It'll be a silent one, until people swap papers and I read the answers out. I'll also post the answers with my Attended log. Tell your friends. Bring your friends!
