Die Halseralm ist ein über 400 Jahre alter noch bewirtschafteter Almbetrieb auf 1.200 m und somit die älteste bewirtschaftete Alm der Region. Die Alm liegt am südlichsten Punkt des Rittisberg in Ramsau.
Die Halseralm ist berühmt: Für ihre ofenfrischen Schweinsbratenbrote und den legendären flambierten Kaiserschmarrn.
Die Besitzer haben auch ein großes Herz für Geocacher und so haben sie uns erlaubt, einen Ort mit Herz als Platz für diesen Schatz zu verwenden.
Öffnungszeiten der Almhütte:
Von 24.12. bis eine Woche nach Ostern
Von Pfingsten bis 26. Oktober
Im Sommer ist am Montag Ruhetag.

The Halseralm is an over 400 years old Transhumance in the Alps, located at about 1.200 m above sealevel and therefore the oldest still managed operation in this region. The Halseralm is located at the southernmost point of the Rittisberg in Ramsau.
The Halseralm is famous: for its pork roast straight out of the wood fired oven and its legendary flambéed "Kaiserschmarrn".
The owners have a big heart for geocachers and therefore allowed us to hide the cache at a place with heart.
Opening hours of the alpine hut:
From Dec 24th until one week after Easter
From Pentecost until Oct 26th
During Summer the hut is closed on Mondays
