This cache has been renamed in memory of Chuck Mettille. Chuck (gncaz) earned the First to Find Honor at 11:11 a.m. on July 7, 2012. Tragically, he died on the way back to his car. Please show proper respect at the cache site.

A Sonoran Preserve cache. The cache is on a great intermediate hike/bike trail. There are several access points to the mountain trail from the North. If you want to access the cache from the paved trail along the Sonoran Parkway, the Apache Wash Trail Head is now open (N33 46.086 W112 02.673). You can also use GC47RNE "Thanksgiving at the Trail Head" cache for reference which is located at Apache Wash Trail Head.
