A church has stood on this headland for over a thousand years with the first structure erected nearby at the end of the sixth century. It would have been a plain oblong building with an earth floor and thatched roof.
The lovely grounds have been much improved recently by a team of volunteers and the probation services.
There are benches in the churchyard to sit and admire this pretty church.
You are looking for a natural looking container hidden on a public foothpath just beyond the churchyard boundary. Please bring a pencil.
