Norfolk Area Fall Caching Extravaganza 2012
Come join us for what could be Northeast Nebraska's BIGGEST EVENT EVER! Dare we say "MEGA" event? Well, we won't get that carried away.
Enjoy some great food and have fun mingling and sharing adventures with all your caching friends! Then, prepare yourself for a great day (or weekend) of caching as we load your GPS with 250 NEW CACHES! These new caches are NOT a "power trail." They will include a variety of types, size, difficulty, and terrain ratings. A few of the caches may even have FTF prizes! We'll also have some door prizes and some CA$H prizes!! You won't want to miss out!
The event will start at approximately 11:00 am and take place at "Valentino's" in Norfolk, NE following the Northeast Nebraska Adopt-A-Highway CITO Fall 2012
There is wireless internet available but we may not have access to the electrical outlets, so make sure your batteries are charged up! Valentino's offers a full buffet as well as menu items, but no purchase is required to join in the fun.
Please, Please, PLEASE post a "Will Attend" with number in your party. Please also indicate if you will be eating or not. With a large turnout expected, it is critical that we have an accurate total head count and amount of food needed so Valentino's can prepare for us.
It's going to be crazy! Plan for a whole weekend of fun! There will be events on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Norfolk has a wide range of lodging as well as campgrounds available if you are planning to extend your stay.
Update 8-16-12: There will be a few extra caches published for the early birds coming on Friday! This is in addition to the 250 caches being released on Saturday!
Update 8-21-12: *Big News* we will have event T-shirts for sale! They are only $15.00 and are TRACKABLE on geocaching.com!!! If you want to make sure we have your size available, please pre-order by posting it with your "Will Attend" or send me a message with sizes and quantity.
Update 9-6-12: I confirmed available T-shirt sizes with our maker today. Sizes include Youth Medium through Adult 5XL.
