Il s'agit de notre troisième série basée sur le paisible village de Villardonnel, à la suite du lancement de Une Balade Dans Les Bois et Une Balade Dans Deux Petits Ravins, en Juin 2012. Nous avons également une courte série plus facile, Une Balade Autour du Bassin de Saint-Denis et trois autres caches individuelles dans la région.

Villardonnel est un des nombreux petits villages de la Montagne Noire. Il ya quelques promenades belles et intéressant dans la région et la route de cette série suit généralement un d'eux. Le terrain varie au cours de la distance 6,1 km, avec une variation de hauteur globale d'environ 380 mètres. Les gammes de terrain de 1 à 4 niveau de difficulté, avec une descente 1:7 avec enrochements. La plupart de la route utilise sentiers, mais il ya de courts tronçons sur des routes tranquilles.

Note: Les voitures sont interdites sur la route de le jonction de la rue du Château à (43 ° 20,097 'N 002 ° 18,778' E).

La série commence avec du parking (43 ° 20,109 'N 002 ° 18,760' E) pres du Maire. Il ya d’autre parking alternative à (N 43 20.016 'E 2 18.861') sur la route de Salsigne, juste à l'extérieur du centre du village. A partir du parking, la route se dirige le long des murs du château a gauche et sur la route vers cache numéro 1. De là, vous suivez le sentier jusqu'à la rivière au fond du petit ravin et traversez le vieille pont pittoresque. On se tourne au nord, longeant le fleuve à gauche. NOTE: IL N'YA PAS ROUTE DROITE DE CACHE 3 A CACHE 4. Ce sentier à une jonction avec une route verte où on tourne à droite et monte peu à peu à mettre en cache 10. Ici la route tourne à gauche à travers entre les champs avec une belle vue sur les Pyrénées. Comme la route passe à la ferme pres du cache 11, le chemin est obstrué et il est plus facile de marcher le long du bord du champ à la droite du chemin. De là, la route suit la route de la communauté de Gleyre, puis, en descente, devant la ferme des sangliers. A l'extrémité inférieure de l'enceinte des sangliers, la route descend la pente, piste caillouteuse et le long d'un sentier dans les bois de la même riviere que on a traversé près de cache 3. A l'autre côté du pont, la route tourne à droite et monte peu a peu, rejoindre la piste d'origine juste avant de passer cache 1.

Aucune de ces caches est apte à être trouvee comme un Cache et Dash. Cette série est offert comme une balade circulaire en prenant environ trois heures

A Walk Around Glyere

This is our third series based on the quiet village of Villardonnel, following the launch of Une Balade Dans Les Bois and Une Balade Dans Deux Petits Ravins, in June 2012. We also have a short, easier series, Une Balade Autour du Bassin Saint-Denis and three other individual caches in the region.

Villardonnel is one of many small villages in the Black Mountain. There are some excellent and interesting walks in the area and the route of this series generally follows one of these. The terrain varies over the course of the 6.1 kilometre distance, with an overall height change of about 380 metres. The terrain ranges from difficulty level 1 to 4, with a 1:7 descent with some scree. Most of the route uses footpaths but there are short stretches on quiet roads.

Note: The road from the corner of Rue Du Chateau at 43° 20.097'N 002° 18.778'E, is not open to cars.

The series starts at a car park (43° 20.109'N 002° 18.760'E) near the Maire. There is alternative parking at (N 43 20.016’ E 2 18.861’) on the road to Salsigne, just outside the village centre. From the car park the route heads around the walls of the chateau to the left and onto the traffic free road towards cache number 1. From there the trail follows down to the river at the bottom of the small ravine and cross the beautiful old bridge. The path turns north, keeping the river to the left. NOTE: THERE IS NO STRAIGHT ROUTE FROM CACHE 3 TO CACHE 4. This footpath comes to a junction with a green road where the route turns right and rises gradually to cache 10. Here the route turns left through open farmland with a beautiful view towards the Pyrenees. As the route passes the farm at cache 11, the path is obstructed and it is easier to walk along the edge of the field to the right of the path. From there the route follows the road to the community of Gleyre and then, downhill, past the wild boar farm. At the lower end of the wild boar enclosure, the route descends the steep, stony track and along a woodland path to the same stream crossed near cache 3. On the far side of the bridge, the route turns right and climbs steadily uphill, joining the original track just before you pass cache 1.

None of these caches is suitable to be done as Cache and Dash. This series is designed as a circular walk, taking about three hours.
