This cache is part of the Bovey Valley Woodlands mystery cache so don’t forget to write down the number in the pot. Answer = f Bring your own pen.
This road dates back to Medieval times when it was used by pedestrians, pack-horses and horsemen to get between Manaton and Lustleigh until a more modern road was engineered in the 19th Century. Thanks to Natural England for giving permission for this cache.
After finding this cache if doing it as part of the Bovey Valley Woodlands mystery cache carry on along this track until you get to the gate with Hisley Bridge beyond and cross the river there.
