IGO #54 Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

IowaAdmin: I received this message from Groundspeak: "We received a request from the property owner to remove the 5 caches in the IGO series along 170th from Adair Madison to Cottonwood. Here's the one in the middle: GC3NKXJ. Their concern is that during trapping season they put their traps along the fence line there and don't want anyone getting tangled up in them. They caution that numerous people set traps all over the area, so similar dangers could be present for the other caches in the series. Can you archive those 5 caches and let the CO know about the other trapping concerns in the area?" Therefore I have to archive this cache. Sorry. Please remove the cache container at your earliest convenience.

Geocache Description:

Placed in honor of the Iowa Geocachers Organization. IGO has put Iowa on the geocaching map with MOGA 2012, now geocaching puts IGO on the Iowa map.

The Iowa Geocachers Organization originally started as the Eastern Iowa Geoachers Association somewhat shortly after geocaching started, many years ago. Sometime later in 2004, the group discussed going state-wide and it was then the Iowa Geocachers Organization was born.

All containers are identical - cancer awareness bisons. Cancer has closely affected this family. Nothing fatal, thankfully.
We have done so many power trails lately that Dad has had this idea for a while now. When asked what would Dad like for Father's Day, he said "complete this power trail." Dad, Happy Father's Day 2012!

All should be easy, but may not be accessible in the winter due to snowfall.
