Part of a series of caches on the track/public right of way between Dairsie and Denbrae, each in a different type of hiding place (kind of), and each named after their hiding place. They are supposed to be fairly well hidden, so please do not anticipate easy finds. The total distance to walk from one end to the other is 3.2 km according to the footpath sign, and takes you through some lovely Fife countryside. Parking is available at N 56°20.650 W 002°57.220.
At this end of the route there are two bridges over a small stream, one bridge leads to Denbrae, the other to Pittormie. This is a well hidden micro-cache (log only), hence to maintain the difficulty, no spoilers in the logs please. You may have to lean a little to reach this one – warning – you do so at your own risk, please do not blame us if you fall in the stream! New Note: This one was supposed to be fiendishly difficult, but perhaps not quite this difficult (based on all the DNF's, sorry). To narrow things down it is hidden on the bridge that leads to Pittormie, rather than the bridge up the hill. Also, focus your efforts on the support posts for the railings.
