This cache is part of the Icelandic Filming Location Geotrail. It is hidden at one of the filming locations of Die Another Day from 2002.
Die Another Day, sometimes referred to as Bond 20, since it is the 20th installment in the spy film series, is the last one with Pierce Brosnan as Bond. What followed was the second longest cap between Bond films, 4 years. The wait was finally broken with a radically different and more realistic movie, Casino Royal released in 2006 with Daniel Craig as Bond.
Jökulsárlón is a beautiful mix of glasier and lake and has served as a filming location for many Icelandic films as well as foreign ones. Of the forgein films the first notable one was A View to a Kill in 1985, then Lara Croft: Tomb Raider in 2001 and the latest one was the 20th Bond film, Die Another Day staring Pierce Brosnan and Halle Berry.
Extra points if you upload a picture of yourself infront of the lake posing as James Bond.
