Geocache Description:


A “flash mob” gathering of Geocachers. Is only 15 minutes long! You MUST be present and make sure we have a copy of your caching name DURING this time to claim the event. The World Wide Flash Mob Event: Dozens of events are happening all around the world, they are coordinated to happen at the same time to bring together Geocachers and maybe introduce others to Geocaching. You’ve heard of MEGA events? This is the opposite. FLASH MOBS have gathered for other reasons in the past (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flash_mob). But these specific ones are for Geocaching (see https://sites.google.com/site/wwfminfo/). At precisely 6.00pm on 9th June 2012 you are invited to join us at the Fort of Santa Catarina Portimão to take part in a flash mob event. The event will last EXACTLY 15 minutes, not a second longer! All you need to attend the event is a hat - any hat will do from bobble hats to Santa hats and even grandma's bonnet (I’m sure you get the idea)! Prior To The Event: Drive or walk to areas near the coordinates. Amble towards the Fort and pretend you are a muggle. ACT LIKE YOU DON'T KNOW ANYONE ELSE. Keep your hat hidden away from view until the event starts. At exactly 6:00 PM: A whistle will be blown at GZ. This signifies the start of the event and everyone should at this moment pull out their hat, put it on and head for GZ. Please have your caching name written down on a piece of paper to drop into the event box as you will not have time to pass around a log book. There will be time to exchange Travel Bugs and Geocoins. The event will last exactly 15 minutes giving time for a group photo and one name will be pulled out of the box and declared FTF then at 6:15pm everyone will take off their hats and disperse leaving any muggles wondering what on earth just happened! :-) We thought we'd better to do this as no one else in the area seemed to be! :-) It'll be our first event so be gentle with us ... O evento vai durar exatamente 15 minutos, nem um segundo mais longo! Quer fazer de qualquer chapéus bobble ter gorros de Papai Noel e até gorro avó (eu tenho certeza que essa é a idéia) - Tudo que você precisa para participar do evento é um chapéu! Antes do evento: Drive ou a pé para áreas próximas as coordenadas. Amble para o Fort e fingir que você é um trouxa. Aja como se você não conhece ninguém ELSE. Mantenha o seu chapéu escondido da vista até o evento começar. Exatamente às 6:00 pm: Um apito será soprado no GZ. Isto significa o início do evento e todos devem retirar seu neste momento, colocou-a e siga para GZ. Por favor, tenha seu nome escrito no cache de um pedaço de papel para cair na caixa como evento que você não vai ter tempo para passar em torno de um livro de registro. Haverá tempo para trocar Travel bugs e Geocoins. O evento vai durar exactamente 15 minutos dando tempo para uma foto de grupo e um nome será retirado da caixa e, em seguida, declarou a FTF 18:15 todo mundo quer tirar os chapéus e dispersar deixar qualquer trouxas querendo saber o que na terra só aconteceu! :-) Nós pensamos que seria melhor fazer isso como ninguém na área parecia ser! :-) Vai ser nosso primeiro evento para ser gentil com a gente ...
