PB & J - The Da Vinci Code Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

saintclair: I really enjoyed creating this cache and making it available for my fellow cachers. However, apparently it was to attractive, for probably some young muggle(s), as it has been ripped out of it's resting place and now gone. I'm glad a few of you were able to solve and find "The DaVinci Code". Thanks for all the favorite votes.

Geocache Description:

PLEASE READ FIRST

The PB & J series of caches are accessible by walking or biking the Perryville bike path. But, if you are driving, please use the parking coordinates when provided. DO NOT park on Perryville Road. This is a high traffic and muggle area and you will need to be stealthy while searching for the cache. You will need to bring a pen to sign the log.

This is a Puzzle cache with a twist, it is based on Dan Brown's fictional story “The Di Vinci Code” , a movie and book. This cache container is at the published location. However you must first obtain 2 pieces of information to be able to access the cache and it's contents. The sources for the answers can be found in the book, on the Internet, and by far the most enjoyable way, which I recommend, is to take the time and sit down and watch the movie. You will better understand and appreciate the symbolism that is used in this cache.

The following 8 questions will provide a letter each (?) that you will need, however these 8 characters will make no sense. You will still need to break the Code.

Part 1

What was the name of the church in London that was the target of the

Grail search? _ _ _ _ _ ?

On what date were the Knights Templar ordered to be executed? _ _ _ _ ? _ _ 13th. 1307

What was the symbol often associated with the Virgin Mary

and used for the Priory of Sion's crest? ? _ _ _ _ - _ _ - _ _ _

The Cryptex Grail map was written on what material? _ _ _ _ ? _ _

What was the name of the chapel that Dr. Langdon and Sophie traveled, to

find (supposed) the last resting place of Mary Magdalene? _ _ _ _ _ ? _

According to the book and movie where is Mary Magdalene's body buried

in France? The _ _ _ ? _ _

Where was Robert Langdon a professor of Religious Symbolism? _ ? _ _ _ _ _

What did Langdon and Sophie find in the safety deposit box? A _ ? _ _ _ _ _

Part 2

Now you must obtain one more piece of information on your spiritual quest before you spiral out of control, do you need a hint? I just gave you one.

After you have signed the log be sure you have properly secured the cache, then take a look around the Priory is probably watching.

Congratulations: to RebelGTP for the FTF!
