Po svazich Snezne hurky je rozeseto velke mnozstvi starych dulnich del ze 16. stoleti.
Nejvetsi byl dul Zuzana. Vedle nej zde byly sachty Vavrinec, Zdar Buh, Pomoc Bozí, Gottlob, Václav, Jan, Ondrej, Cervená zíla a dalsí. Mnohe z nich jsou dodnes zachovany. Venujte prochazce po Snezne hurce cas a sami uvidite kolik se vam v roli pozornych pruzkumniku podari dulnich pamatek najit. Jsou zde ruzne propadliny, pinky, hromady rubaniny, stoly. Narozdil od turisticky proflaklych Vlcich jam u Horni Blatne vas zde ceka klid, krasny les a samota. Nejsou zde ale cesty, a tak davejte dobry pozor kam slapete at neskoncite na dne stoly.
Tezba v tomto revíru ustala v roce 1817. Rudné zíly zde byly sledovány az do hloubky 120 metru. Dal uz nebylo mozne pomoci tehdejsi techniky zajistit odvodnení. Je treba si uvedomit, ze se zde pracovalo rucne mlatkem a kladivkem, vytezeny material se nosil v putnach. V zulove hornine byly zily smerem do hloubky chudsi se stale vetsi primesi pyritu, a arzenopyritu.
Co se zde vlastne tezilo? Zacalo se cinem, ale postupne se pridavali i zelezne a manganove rudy. Zdejsi loziska jsou reprezentantem Jáchymovské pětiprvkové formace a podle toho vypadal těžený materiál. Stávalo se, ze do cca. 40 metru byl tezen cin, ktery byl od teto hloubky vystridan kovy Jáchymovské petiprvkové formace. A pak je tu krasna zula - granit. Ten se zde netezil, ale je tu vsude. Zula je pro nas obycejna, ale verte, ze neni. Ta zula po ktere dnes slapeme na povrchu byla drive hlubokomorskym bahnem, pak bridlici, pak rulou, a nakonec byla pretavena v zulu. To vse v hloubce cca. 5 km pod povrchem zeme. Pak jeste musela vystoupat na povrch. Opravdu obdivuhodne. Zadivejte se na steny zdejsich dolu i na vsudypritomne balvany s vedomim toho, co vse uz maji za sebou.

Seeking this cache will bring you to interesting abandoned remains of ore extraction that forms a peculiar small geo-preserve. The slopes of Snezna hurka are scattered with large numbers of old mine openings from the 16th century. The largest of them is the Zuzana mine which was once surrounded with several pits, for instance Vavrinec, Zdar Buh, Pomoc Bozí, Gottlob, Václav, Jan, Ondrej, Cervená zíla, etc. Many of them have been preserved to this day. Take your time and walk along Snezna hurka. You will see for yourself how many excavation openings your sharp explorer’s eyes will find. The area abounds with depressions, surface depressions, mind rock piles, and pits. Unlike the touristy beaten tracks in Vlci jamy near Horni Blatna, Snezna hurka will welcome you with peace and quiet, beautiful forests and solitude. However, there are no paths so you are advised to watch where you step. You could easily end up on the bottom of a pit. Extraction in this district came to a halt in 1817. Ore veins were exploited as deep as 120m. The then equipment was not able to secure proper drainage in deeper layers.
