Tato kes vznikla spojenim listingu dvou ruznych kaceru, kteri nezavisle na sobe ve stejny cas pracovali na priprave teto kese. Vysledny listing vznikl po vzajemne domluve. Uvodem bych tedy chtel podekovat kacerce Jitce kesujici pod nickem prognostik za spolupraci a reviewerovi GeoawareCZ za veskere konzultace i za akceptovani tohoto kompromisniho reseni.

Prijmete pozvani do severovychodni casti broumovskeho vybezku do nadherneho a liduprazdneho pohori Javori hory. Touto earth-kesi bych Vam chtel predstavit a pozvat Vas na geologicky zajimave misto nachazejici se na samem vrcholu kopce Homole, nekdy tez nepravem nazyvanym Sonovska sopka. Vrchol Homole je jednim z mala mist v Ceske republice, kde je mozne sledovat zvlastni jev nazyvany ventarola.
Z geologickeho hlediska jsou Javori hory soucasti clenite a geomorfologicky pestre Broumovske vrchoviny. Jejich tvrde horninove podlozi, ktere je tvorene vcelku vzacnymi ryolity a melafyry, vzniklo na konci prvohor v karbonu a permu podmorskymi vulkanismy. Pro dokresleni geologicke stavby uzemi je prilozena nize geologicka mapa. Homole lezi v oblasti vyskytu vyvrelin (cislo 2).

A nyni se jiz venujme samotnemu cili nasi cesty – vrcholu Homole. Tento kopec se nachazi v jihovychodni casti Javorich hor, nedaleko obce Sonov s dominantnim, avsak bohuzel chatrajicim baroknim kostelem Sv. Markety postavenym dle planu K. I. Dientzenhofera.
Na souradnicich kese na vrcholu kopce Homole nalezenete puklinu, ze ktere v chladnych zimnich obdobich stoupa tepla para. 
Neni to vsak zadny pozustatek vulkanickeho puvodu pohori. Jedna se o zvlasti geologicky jev - tzv. ventarola, tedy vyverani tepleho a vlhkeho vzduchu. Zjistit, co tento jev zpusobuje bude jednim z vasich ukolu pro splneni teto earthcache. V samotne jame nebyva snih a v okoli ventaroly muzeme diky zvysene vlhkosti pozorovat na stromech a kerich namrazy a jinovatku. I za velke zimy se v samotne ventarole diky teplemu vzduchu muzeme setkat s vyskytem nekterych rostlin i zivocichu. Z vyse uvedeneho vyplyva, ze nejlepsi obdobi pro navstevu teto lokality je zimni obdobi s venkovnimi teplotami hluboko pod bodem mrazu. Rozdil mezi namerenymi teplotami uvnitr prohlubne a v okoli muze v nekterych pripadech cinit dokonce az 25 stupnu Celsia.
Jak se dostat na vrchol: Nejlepsi cesta je po zelene znacene ceste z Sonova – od autobusove zastavky nedaleko od kostela Sv. Markety. Zde muzete rovnez nechat sva auta (viz. parking point.) Cesta po zelene znacce na vrchol je dlouha cca 4 km, cestu vam zprijemni krasne vyhledy na panorama Broumovskych sten a na celou Broumovskou kotlinu.
Ukoly potrebne pro splneni kese:
1) Vysvetlete velmi strucne vlastnimi slovy princip ventarol
2) Odhadni priblizne hloubku a obvod (nahore) prohlubne na souradnicich teto kese
3) Ze tri světových stran tesne okolo prohlubne na souradnicich rostou smrky. Na ktere svetove strane smrk nenajdeme?
4) Jaka nadmorska vyska je uvedena na turisticke znacce pobliz souradnic teto kese?
5) Poridte sve foto vedle nebo v pukline na souradnicich kese (nepovinne)

Let me invite you to the Javori Mountains, nice and calm part of nature without crowds of tourists. By means of this earthcache I would like to show you a unique geological effect called ventarole.
The coordinates of this earthcache will take you to the top of the Homole hill, to local people known rather as the Sonov volcano. 
This hill is one of a few places in the Czech Republic where we can watch the remarkable effect of ventarole - a stream of moist warm air released from the opening of the crevice system at the top of this mountain. However this effect is not any residue of the vulcanic origin of Javori Mountains. The explanation of the ventarole principle is one of your tasks related to this earthcache (see below).
Winter months, when the temperature falls deeply below 0 degree Celsius, are the very best time for a visit of this place. The air rising from the underground fissure is brightly visible and much warmer than the air around this hollow. The difference between temperatures can reach up to 25 degrees of Celsius. Moreover, due to this effect, you can see rime frost on the surrounding trees.
How to get to this place: The best way to get to this earthcache is using the green – colored marked tourist trail that starts near the bus stop by the St. Margaret Church in Sonov. Near this place you can leave your car as well (please see Parking waypoint).

1) Try to explain very briefly the principle of the ventarole effect
2) Try to estimate approximately the depth and circumference (up) of the hollow at the coordinates of this cache
3) You can find spruce trees on three cardinal points around this hollow. Please determine the cardinal point, on which we cannot find the spruce tree (North, South, West or East)?
4) Tell me the altitude figure (height above sea level) which is mentioned on the peak – notice board near this cache
5) (Not obligatory) Take your photo from the bottom or surroundings of the hollow at the coordinates of this cache.
