Geocache Description:


Stannon Tor gets its name from the Anglo Saxon word stennen meaning stony. And stony clitter lies all around showing that many years ago Stannon tor was a large one before the rocks started to fall down.

This cache was placed by Muddypuddles and offered as a prize in a variation of pin the tail on the donkey - pin the cache on the map. Many thanks to MP for placing this cache as a prize
