Geocache Description:

A unique way to enjoy Virginia’s growing wine culture! Check out the beautiful landscape and delicious wine as you hunt for a cache in the beautiful vineyards of Virginia

Virginia is quickly becoming known for more than just lovers. Counties such as Loudoun and Shenandoah Valley are being reported in the top 10 up-and-coming wine regions. Locals are learning that a little country air, a couple bottles of wine, and a group of friends is the perfect way to relax after a long week working in and around DC.

Being both geocaching and wine enthusiasts, some friends and I have decided to start a VA Wine Trail of geocaches. We hope you enjoy!

The next stop in our wine trail takes you to Pearmund Cellars, home of many award-winning wines, including Cabernet Franc. Located in the rolling hills of Faquier County, its a path less taken worth the visit!

The lovely people at Pearmund have given us permission to place this cache, so please respect their business hours (11-6, 7 days/week)

CACHE UPDATED INFO: The cache location seems to be "moved" around quite a bit....pay attention to the hint, and focus on what the cache is likely attached to. Difficulty has been upped to reflect this cache's mobile nature
