#12 Via Crucis In Dornes Traditional Geocache

Via Crúcis (do latim Via Crucis, 'caminho da cruz') é o trajeto seguido por Jesus carregando a cruz, que vai do Pretório até o Calvário. O exercício da Via Sacra, como também é chamada, consiste em que os fiéis percorram mentalmente a caminhada de Jesus a carregar a Cruz desde o Pretório de Pilatos até o monte Calvário, meditando simultaneamente à Paixão de Cristo. Tal exercício, muito usual no tempo da Quaresma, teve origem na época das Cruzadas (do século XI ao século XIII): os fiéis que então percorriam na Terra Santa os lugares sagrados da Paixão de Cristo, quiseram reproduzir no Ocidente a peregrinação feita ao longo da Via Dolorosa em Jerusalém. O número de estações, passos ou etapas dessa caminhada foi sendo definido paulatinamente, chegando à forma atual, de quatorze estações, no século XVI^[1]. O Papa João Paulo II introduziu, em Roma, a mudança de certas cenas desse percurso não relatadas nos Evangelhos por outros quadros narrados pelos evangelistas. A nova configuração ainda não se tornou geral. O exercício da Via Sacra tem sido muito recomendado pelos Sumos Pontífices, pois ocasiona frutuosa meditação da Paixão do Senhor Jesus.

Esta reflexão é baseada em quatorze estações ou etapas, em que cada uma apresenta uma cena da Paixão a ser meditada pelo discípulo de Cristo:

4. Jesus encontra a sua Mãe
5. Simão Cirineu ajuda a Jesus
6. Verônica limpa o rosto de Jesus

Via Crucis (Latin Via Crucis, 'Way of the Cross') is the route followed by Jesus carrying the cross, which goes from the Praetorium to Calvary. The exercise of the Cross, as it is called, is that the faithful mentally traverse the walk of Jesus carrying the Cross from the Praetorium of Pilate to Mount Calvary, while meditating on the Passion of Christ. This year, very usual in time of Lent originated in the Crusades (eleventh century to the thirteenth century): the faithful who then traveled to the Holy Land the holy places of Christ's Passion, wanted to play in the West made the pilgrimage over Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem. The number of stations, steps or stages of this journey was being set up gradually, reaching the present form of fourteen stations in the sixteenth century [1]. Com este Power Trail tenciono guiar-vos a um dos mais belos recantos do nosso pais e especialmente desta região.

O PT não é circular, na sua totalidade perfaz cerca de 6 km sempre por estrada de asfalto mas dentro da mata. Poderá por isso fazê-lo de carro contudo é bastante aconselhável de se fazer a pé ou de bicicleta pois o terreno é sempre a descer de forma pouco acentuada o que origina um belo passeio.

A envolvente é recheada de locais verdes e alguns locais bons para fazer uma pausa ou merendar por exemplo...

Para poderem logar a cache final precisam de ir retirando as combinações que se encontram escritas no logbook. Atenção que nem todas as caches deste Power Trail contem combinações.

With this Power Trail intend to guide you to one of the most beautiful corners of our country and especially in this region.

The PT is not circular in its entirety amounts to about 6 km by road where the asphalt but within the forest. You can do it so the car is however strongly advised to do walk or bike because the terrain is always going down in a very marked and this causes a great ride.

The envelope is filled with local greens and some good places to pause or picnic for example ...
