SideTracked caches are not designed to take you to a magical place with a breath taking view. They are just a distraction for the weary geocaching traveller, but anyone else can go and find it too. Mind you, I'm not sure quite where you'd be travelling for this one!
This cache has been set to create a cache and dash near Haynes End Station. The station is served by the Summerfield Railway. The cache is not located on railway property but the station is visible from the cache site.
Haynes End station is a terminus station to the north of Haynes Silver End. The station is operated by the Bedford Model Engineering Society. The railways are open to the public on designated Public Running Days, when there is a frequent, but untimetabled service (usually starting at 11). More details of the society and the railway can be found on their website.
The cache is now a black. It only contains a log. You will need to bring your own writing implement - but after all you're bound to have one as you are a geocacher!.
