[LAT] Ūdensdzirnavas Uz Tukuma pusi Slocenes upi šķērso Šlokenbekas ūdensdzirnavu dambis. Tagad tur uzbūvēta mazā HES. [ENG] Water mill Just behind Tukums over the river Slocene there is a watermill dam. Now, there ir also a small hydroelectric power station.
[LAT] Ūdensdzirnavas Uz Tukuma pusi Slocenes upi šķērso Šlokenbekas ūdensdzirnavu dambis. Tagad tur uzbūvēta mazā HES. Celtas ap 1780 gadu, ar skaistu dzirnavu ezeru, ko veido Slocene. Ūdensrats darbojies līdz 1927. gadam. Pie dzirnavām apskatāms obelisks to īpašniekam M.Rekkem, uzstādīts 1867. gadā. Pretējā ceļa pusē atrodama Nāves ieleja, kurā mituši laupītāji. Slēpnis ir balta 35mm foto filmiņas kastīte ar logbook un nelielu zīmulīti. P.S. BYOP! Un latvāņos jābrien nav! [ENG] Water mill Just behind Tukums over the river Slocene there is a watermill dam. Now, there ir also a small hydroelectric power station. Built around the year 1780, with a beautiful Mill Lake, formed by Slocene. The water wheel operated until year 1927. At the mill there is an obelisk for the owner of the mill M. Rekke, installed the year 1867. On the opposite side of the road there is a so called Death Valley, where the robbers lived. The cache is a 35mm film container with a logbook and a pencil. P.S. BYOP! And there is no need to go in to the hogweed!
