EN: The history of this monumental building begins on June 16th, 1927, when the building of Zagreb's stock market for commodities and securities have been inaugurated. Building is the most important work of father of modern croatian architecture, Viktor Kovacic, who died in 1924, in the middle of its construction. It is inscribed in the Register of Cultural Monuments as a heritage monument of highest category.
The building was completely renovated in 2007, and today, you can find the headquarters of Croatian National Bank inside. More of its spectacular inside can be found here, and you can also see a short movie about it.

HR: Povijest ove monumentalne zgrade počinje 18.6.1927. kad je svečano otvorena palača Zagrebačke burze za robu i vrijednosnice. Zgrada je najvažnije djelo Viktora Kovačića (koji je umro 1924, u sred izgradnje zgrade Burze), oca moderne hrvatske arhitekture, a kao spomenik nulte kategorije upisana je u Registar spomenika kulture.
