Geocache Description:

Dinosaur Train T-Rex cache

"Go outside, get into nature

and make your own discoveries!"

That is what Dr. Scott challenges his viewers to do at the end of each Dinosaur Train episode.

This cache is part of a series of other geocaches. The Jim Henson Company has hidden Dinosaur Train themed geocaches nationwide with the help of local PBS stations. To find the location of other Dinosaur Train themed geocaches click here

Although dinosaur bones have never been found in the Rockford Area we do have a nice museum downtown with a good dino display and now you can visit 'Buddy's Dinosaur Train Geocache Adventure'

My favorite Dinosaur is the T Rex, and some T Rex facts are:

Nickname: Tyrant Lizard King

Time Period: Cretaceous

Size: 40 feet long, 15-20 ft. tall

Diet: Carnivore (Meat eater)
