Geocache Description:

The Alconbury Amble will start you at the Recreation Field (which has a car park).

It will take you on a leisurely stroll around the pretty village taking in all the high points (and low points!) before returning you to the vicinity of the Recreation Field.

The entire route is not wheelchair friendly but most is and any problem locations will only require a minor diversion.

The amble is best taken in conjunction with the Past Pubs Path Finders multi-cache.

NOTE: CACHE HAS MOVED. Due to the concerns raised about the location of this (it was on public land but massively mugglacious) and as part of my program of lowering difficulty/muggle levels of the Ambles urban caches I have moved this cache further down the road.

Phew - that was a long walk (especially on the old co-ords!!!), but you have passed 3 old pubs (make sure you got all 3 path finder multi-cache clues).

Shame they're not open any more. :P

This cache is so named because Globe Lane (Shakespeare yeah?) used to house The Globe public house and latterly the Globe Garage.

Small micro. BYOP.
