The Meon Shore Beach Clean
I have arranged for us to join with The Fareham Society Annual beach clean (they have run this event for a number of years, but are looking for new blood to help this very worthwhile community activity)
The Sunday-morning event will involve a good skirmish of the beach from Meon Shore to Brownwich.
Start at 9.30AM Sunday 29th April low tide is 10.30.
Skirmish finished before 12 Noon.
You don’t HAVE to be here at 9.30 but this is not intended to be a cache and dash!
There will also be help from the Titchfield Haven National Nature Reserve and a small tractor and trailer will be on the beach to collect the rubbish from us and avoid having to walk back to the meeting point with bags full of rubbish.
Bags will be provided – please bring your own gloves and other equipment you think is appropriate.
To log this cache – collect at least a bag of rubbish - solent runner will have a log book available to sign, should you wish to
