On the main stack of the tor, there is a large flat rock that is supported on two impossibly small pebbles, and looks as if it should crush them and fall off.
Between 1 March - 31 July all public access is restricted to the linear route shown on the map. There is no open access during this time, and you must follow the compulsory route, shown on the map.
