Forestfauna was part of Team Awesome on event day!
Two of my sisters worked at the Lobster Haven when I was a kid, and as a big seafood restaurant right on Route 1, it had a lot of draw, especially on summer evenings when the border line was long.
I am not sure how this song came to be, but I suspect my sister Olive created it and it stuck in my head. I rarely drive by here without singing it or humming it, even 35 years later! The buildings are gone, but this small part remains, changed but still in the same old spot.
"Over and Under (and Not so Much)" … The Caches!
The face of many areas has been changed by modern transportation. In our quest to get there faster and more efficiently, we often take the high road and high speed – and we miss a lot along the way. This Series celebrates both where we are and where we have been, and the way things used to be…along Route 1 in southern NB.
Each cache in the series is named after a cacher who successfully solved the original puzzle at placement – or, after the 10th of March, 2012 (the VI Ides of March Event), any cacher who has completed all of the caches in the Series may request that a remaining unnamed cache in the series be named for them.
