Geocache Description:

This area, touching the edge of the now defunct Elm Street Park, has a nice defunct bridge itself – and having been left in place, it really adds to the charm of the “what used to be” in the area. Left to the deer and the buggies and one of my favorites, you could almost picture a nice farmstead at the top of the hill.

"Over and Under (and Not so Much)" … The Caches!

The face of many areas has been changed by modern transportation. In our quest to get there faster and more efficiently, we often take the high road and high speed – and we miss a lot along the way. This Series celebrates both where we are and where we have been, and the way things used to be…along Route 1 in southern NB.

Each cache in the series is named after a cacher who successfully solved the original puzzle at placement – or, after the 10th of March, 2012 (the VI Ides of March Event), any cacher who has completed all of the caches in the Series may request that a remaining unnamed cache in the series be named for them.
