Geocache Description:

20 May 2013: Very pleased to be naming this one after Neaders, a fabulous cacher with a heart as big as all outdoors. I just took this road by mistake one day last week returning from a fire call... I swear I visit this cache the most - now I'll get to visit Neaders!

The other side of this once-through street is now private property with a chain link fence and the most interesting way of terminating perfectly good asphalt roadway into said chain link fence. This side, however, is still public property and has a good opportunity for turning at the end.

The pronunciation of the name of this road escapes me, but I will definitely find an old timer at the fire hall to ask. When the area first changed to open the new route 1, this portion was called the truck route, and ended here at Church street. After the next change, which extended it further west, I often took this road and had to turn around when I remembered the street wasn’t there anymore!

"Over and Under (and Not so Much)" … The Caches!

The face of many areas has been changed by modern transportation. In our quest to get there faster and more efficiently, we often take the high road and high speed – and we miss a lot along the way. This Series celebrates both where we are and where we have been, and the way things used to be…along Route 1 in southern NB.

Each cache in the series is named after a cacher who successfully solved the original puzzle at placement – or, after the 10th of March, 2012 (the VI Ides of March Event), any cacher who has completed all of the caches in the Series may request that a remaining unnamed cache in the series be named for them.
