Geocache Description:

What is under Dupont Circle? In 1949 an underground system was built to move streetcars under the circle. It can still be seen today. This small cache is located at an entrance to Dupont Underground. After a brief stint as a food court now a non-profit wants it to be an artist space. Placed with permission.

You can still see the entrances to the underground at all sides of the circle. For more history and some great pictures, check out this blog: (visit link)

The cache is located near Dupont Circle close to buses, metro and a bike share station.

This is a high muggle area so stealth is required. The cache is small hide-a-key so BYOP.

There is a Nano Coin Trackable for FTF! Congrats to wetfit for FTF!
