Team AZFastFeet: 17:30 - After the reported DNF, I headed over to check on the container. It is indeed missing, so we are archiving this, our first hide.
Way back when we hid this, we had all of 21 finds and it would be another month and a half before we got our first FTF and started that whole obsession. If I recall correctly, it was the second most logged non-virtual Arizona cache in 2002 (behind Powerful Cacti, though sadly the azgeocaching data is no longer reliable for this kind of research).
Way back when we hid this, the water was running and there were fish and the occasional duck. The cache's name referred to the fact that in the evenings, birds would roost in the trees and set to squawking up a cacophony. At other times, the burbling water made the place quite tranquil. Though this business complex has seriously degraded into urban blight territory over the last six and a half years, we kept the cache active since it was our first.
Now it's time to say goodbye. Thanks to all that visited over the years. We enjoyed reading your logs.
