Geocache Description:

The first mission helped you get your bearings in this backward time. For this mission, you must use your ape wit and wile to secure the location of the capsule. As you scour the terrain, please be on the lookout for any debris en route and secure it to a proper receptacle. The humans of this time are alarmingly lax in tending to their environment. You have seen the Forbidden Zone and are aware of what happens due to this carelessness. Do not follow their example.

As always, be cautious, be safe, be invisible and be sure to read the field guide addendum on this page and follow its directions.

Remember to bring your field guide, it will aid you in this and the rest of your missions. At the final location for this mission, do not forget to locate the clue for Mission 11: Final Objective. Use the clue and coordinates to retrieve a letter code and copy it in your guide. You may also choose to take a stamp and affix it in your field guide. Collecting one stamp from each mission will allow you to receive one limited edition Operation A.P.E. Pathtag upon completion of all 12 missions. Refer to your field guide for more information.

Warning: Due to the sensitive nature of this mission, your objective is not located at the posted coordinates! It is merely a convenient location to use as the starting point of your mission. Use the field guide addendum located below in your effort to find the cache!

Sock Monkey BabyFIRST-TO-FIND PRIZE - SOCK MONKEY BABY
That's right — a brand new Sock Monkey Baby by Schylling awaits the ape who makes it to the cache first! Its smaller size would be perfect to use as a traveller!
