Agia Eleni & Piso Kryoneri Beach
This cache will show you two very beautiful places in the south of Parga:
The visitors of Parga know the 3 big beaches: Valtos, Kryoneri and Lichnos; but there is another beach for insiders - the Piso Kryoneri Beach: on the left of a tavern, there is a path to the sea. The coordinates of the beach are N39°16.948’, E20°24.432’.
You are not here only for swimming, you also want to find the cache:
* Parking is free (2016) at N39°16.990’, E20°24.630’.
* The startpoint is at N39°16.968’, E20°24.464’.
* Here you will find the signpost “Holy Church of Agia Eleni”: you have to walk up a very small path of about 900 metres and a difference in altitude of 200 metres. The following waypoints will help you, stay on the right track:
a) Fotopoint Piso Kryoneri Beach: N39°16.922’, E20°24.467’
b) Fotopoint Parga: N39°16.916’, E20°24.507’
c) Agios Konstantinos (sun, moon & stars on the ceiling of the chapel): N39°16.845’, E20°24.781’
d) Agia Eleni: Cache; here is the best place for a panoramic view to Parga and the Ionian Sea.

The cache is hidden in the wall near a pipe (Spoiler). The cachebox contains 2 logbooks (= enough until my next holiday in Parga) and a pencil.
You can also start near Lichnos Beach: N39°17.065’, E20°25.680’; being for the right track you will visit the 1000 year old Platanaceae (platanos) at N39°17.000’, E20°25.580’, Agios Georgeos and Taverna Elea (N39°17.020’, E20°25.240’) and then at the fork go up left to the cache.
Another path to the cache begins at Taverna Perivoli (N39°17.023’, E20°24.793’) up to N39°16.945’, E20°24.740’ and on to the summit.
Happy caching and have fun
