Geocache Description:

Animal Planet's comedy show documentary show, Finding Bigfoot, recently came to Rhode Island in search of Bigfoot (a.k.a. Sasquatch, Yeti, Swamp Ape, Skunk Monster, Wood Booger). That's right, Bigfoot is living right here in Little Rhody. The Bigfoot research team came to Rhode Island to examine video of a roadside sighting of a Bigfoot, in Arcadia off of Ten Rod Road. They learn that this unexplored area has a wealth of sasquatch activity and hope to prove that this small state is hiding Bigfoot.

Animal Planet's Finding Bigfoot follows the adventures of four eccentric but passionate Bigfoot enthusiasts who have devoted much of their lives in pursuit of conclusive evidence that Bigfoot exists. Matt Moneymaker, Cliff Barackman and James "Bobo" Fay all say that they have had personal encounters with the legendary creature, while Ranae Holland — fascinated by the possibility of giant ape men roaming the swamps and forests of North America and beyond — remains skeptical.

Together, these Bigfoot investigators are striving to prove once and for all whether sasquatches live among us. The team uses words like Squatchy to describe a habitat suitable for sustaining Bigfoot. Whenever there is unexplained evidence such as loud noises in the woods, they tend to jump to the conclusion that it is "definitely a squatch". When recreating videos, if the being appears to be smaller than 7-8 feet, and about the size of a human, the natural assumption is that "it's a juvenile squatch". They try to communicate with Bigfoot through calls and tree knocks, and surprisingly, Bigfoot often responds.

This is one of those shows that is best watched in a group for full entertainment value, and it's great for parties - lots of game opportunities.

This show raises lots of good points that made me wonder. Could it be that geocachers lurking in the woods are being mistaken for Bigfoot? Who was geocaching off of Ten Rod Rd. in Arcadia the day that video was filmed? Could geocachers possibly be the solution to finding Bigfoot? If we can find a micro in the woods, how difficult would it be to spot an 8 foot tall ape man? Has Bigfoot been raiding geocaches hidden in the woods? Do juvenile squatches prefer McToys or silly bands?

Watch the video to solve the puzzle and then get out in the woods and you might possibly be able to answer some of these questions, or even find the elusive Bigfoot. Using the color coded key below, count the number of occurrences of the word or activity. I have provided color coded on screen notation in the lower left hand corner to help you out with this. Only count the instances where the word also appears on screen since I didn't annotate some of the variations of the word "Squatch" such as "squatching" and "squatchier". In case you are wondering why the doughnut box is not the classic orange and pink box typically found in RI, that is the one part that was not filmed here in RI, but I just had to include it since it was classic.
