Perinteinen kätkö lähimetsässämme, joka on tällä hetkellä vaarassa joutua hakatuksi. Paikalle suunnitellaan lumenkaatopaikkaa.
Traditional cache in our nearby forest, that is at the moment threatened to be cut down. It is planned to be a dumping place for snow.

Metsä on elinympäristö joka koostuu pitkistä yleensä puurunkoisista kasveista, joiden latvuskerros muodostaa melko yhtenäisen peitteen ja joiden seassa esiintyy lyhyempiä kasveja muodostaen alempia kerroksia.
Lehdissä ja neulasissa tapahtuva yhteyttäminen mahdollistaa elämän maapallolla.
Metsät antavat rauhaisan vastapainon kiireiselle elämäntavalle. Metsä merkitsee suomalaisille niin samoilumaastoa, sienten ja marjojen poimintapaikkaa, henkisen virkistymisen lähdettä kuin työtä ja rahaakin.
Kestävästi hoidetut metsät ovat maapallon keuhkot. Ne toimivat myös hiilivarastoina ja hidastavat siten ilmastonmuutosta.
Vasta kun oma lähimetsä on uhattuna, tulee mieleen miten paljon sitä oikeasti kaipaa jos se hävitetään. Tämän metsän paikalle on suunniteltu lumenkeräyspaikkaa.
Tämä on metsä, jossa kuljen miltei päivittäin nauttimassa luonnon kauneudesta. Nautitaan siitä niin kauan kun voimme!
A forest, also referred to as a wood or the woods, is an area with a high density of trees.
A typical forest is composed of the overstory (canopy or upper tree layer) and the understory. The understory is further subdivided into the shrub layer, herb layer, and also the moss layer and soil microbes. In some complex forests, there is also a well-defined lower tree layer.
Forests are central to all human life because they provide a diverse range of resources: they store carbon, aid in regulating the planetary climate, purify water and mitigate natural hazards such as floods.
Once your own nearby forest is threatened, you start thinking what it means to you. There is a plan to replace this forest with a dumping ground of snow.
This is a forest where I walk almost every day. Let’s enjoy the beauty of it as long as we can!
