There are lots of earthcaches in Iceland and some traditionals. We love the spot at Gullfoss and think there are some facts you should know about this part of the Golden Circle. That’s why we made a short multi, just answer a few simple questions and there you go: you’ve learned a bit about this nature reserve, you have seen some good viewpoints of the falls and you may have found our cache. All can be done in about 45 minutes, so go, read, do your maths and have a good time.

Count the number of upright stones along the parkinglot (almost half a circle) 17 B=1 18 B=3 19 B=5 Go up the stairs after making some pictures of the falls. If not closed because of ice and snow and you have some extra time, go the trail up to the falls. Please be careful, especially with children because it can be quite slippery and dangerous. But you can make great pictures and get very close to the water. When you have reached the top of the stairs, you can see a restaurant/shop to your left. Go there afterwards, they sell nice things and there are bathrooms. At the top of the stairs there is information you will need to get to the cache. 3.
